Baking @ ABC Cooking Studio with Lennox

Baking is absolutely something I occasionally enjoy, so this was such a fun opportunity! I was invited by the Butterfly Project, Malaysia’s biggest blogger community~

This time I’m baking some yummy treats with Lennox at ABC Cooking studio. Before we go into more details about Lennox and my baking session. I want to tell you a bit about ABC Cooking studio- it offers baking and cooking classes. There’s a selection of cakes, breads, meals, and traditional Japanese desserts.

Lennox’s Love Your Skin Campaign

Lennox is currently celebrating its Love Your Skin campaign in August. Taking care of your skin is so important if you want to feel and look your best in my opinion. Lennox is also currently having a whole bonanza sale to help you achieve better and healthier skin. You can hop over to their Facebook or website for more information on their discounts which are different each week and also stand a chance to win amazing products from Lennox when you make a purchase

Lennox uses “aqueous marine collagen” is found be easily absorbed by bodies. Lennox were so nice to send me a whole box of their FirmUp+. Besides their drink, there are also grape seed extract sachets to mix in before you drink it. From what I’ve heard this, this helps preserve the extract’s freshness.

The following are the list of products they have:

LENNOX FirmUp+ (Whitening)
LENNOX FirmUp+ Forte GOLD (Hydration)
LENNOX FirmUp+ EX (Whitening + Hydration)
LENNOX Collagen 5000 (Collagen powder)

LENNOX FirmUp+ Men (For battling oily skin)

You can find Lennox in many outlets throughout Malaysia. Offline, you can find them on Guardian, Watsons, AEON Wellness, and SASA. While you can find them here online for more information and to purchase:

Baking with Lennox

Mixing collagen into food is not something new to me, I’ve definitely heard of that concept for a long time now. So, for today we baked using the LENNOX Collagen 5000 while making Berry Souffle Cheesecake. I’ve never actually made a souffle before so I was really excited! We got into our groups and our teacher for the day started the lesson.

With my group mates Tiffany, Lee Yann, and Renness

It was a fairly quick and smooth process because everything was already measured out for us and all we had to do was put them in a bowl and mix, mix, mix~

Our instructor was also so nice to work with, she was so friendly, bubbly and funny. She explained the instructions and guided us through when we were struggling. My group mates also made baking more fun, but it was definitely quite challenging, trying to take more photos while baking at the same time! But we had a great time, it was a great experience at ABC Cooking Studio.

I was honestly so happy with my end product, it was almost too pretty to be eaten. But alas, all desserts must be eaten and I’ve got to say, they were DELICIOUS!

The collagen does not change the taste of the souffle at all and instead actually makes it more moist and jiggly. The collagen also makes it, in a way, more healthier for the skin since it helps with elasticity~ So, I just mainly used that as an excuse to eat more hahaha.

Lennox FirmUp+ Review

So, the taste of the collagen is actually really nice. When I was younger, my mum use to give me pure fish collagen, which tasted and smelt terrible. This one tastes of berries which is a little tangy. Some of my friends have said it has a bitter aftertaste, but I really don’t taste it. If anything I’d say it’s pretty tangy.

As for the effects, I actually have great news! I’ve been taking the collagen drink for a while and, today, I went for a facial at my usual facial place. My usual facial lady complimented my skin saying that it feels firmer! This made me absolutely so happy because I am kind of afraid of getting saggy skin, even though, I’m still in my early twenties. I also feel that my skin does not feel as dehydrated as it usually does recently.

The collagen, on the other hand, probably does the same effects. Due to time constraints, I can’t try this out separately from the FirmUp+. It doesn’t taste fishy or bad at all when consumed though. I’ve even tasted it raw, it honestly doesn’t taste like anything! Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a measuring spoon you can use to measure out the amount. But I guess that’s fine.

Overall, I feel that the the collagen does work and actually made an impact on my skin! I do fear sagging skin even though I’m only in my early twenties, so finding a solution to this warms my heart a little. And if you want to keep you skin being firm, I would suggest trying Lennox out. It is really inexpensive and does the job~

Signing off here with a cute pic of me and Tiffany! Huge thanks again to the Butterfly Project and Lennox for this super fun activity!
